Okay, let me preface this post with saying:

I PROMISE that my boys own clothing.  In fact that have tons of clothing.  But, as you will see in the pictures below, they will usually just walk around in diapers.  Why?  Because we keep the thermostat set on 80 degrees in our house.  This cuts down on electric bills and we're just used to it because at the old house we had one window unit and it was a record breaking summer.  However, we are enjoying our new central a/c, promise = )

Want to know how to make it in Texas without any kind of a/c? Check out Kim's tips here.  They live near San Antonio (south texas) and have NO air conditioning whatsoever.  She is proof that you can get by without a lot of things that you think you need = )
